According to the print edition of The Daily Mail (via HITC Sport), West Ham are interested in signing Danny Drinkwater from Chelsea.

The 28-year-old has made just five Premier League starts and 23 appearances in total for Chelsea since his 2017 move. The 3-cap England international, who won the Premier League while at Leicester City, is also wanted by Fulham and Fenerbahce.

West Ham could be set to miss out on Josh Maja as Bordeaux close in on the Sunderland striker, Sky Sports News reports.

TEAMtalk reported that West Ham were interested in the 20-year-old but Bordeaux are set to win the race. Maja has scored 16 goals for Sunderland this season and could cost Bordeaux up to £3.5m.

According to Sky Sports News, West Ham had no interest in signing Nice striker Mario Balotelli.

The hot-headed Italian international previously spent time at Manchester City, scoring 30 goals in 80 games. The 28-year-old has not scored a single goal this season and has joined Marseille.

Marko Arnautovic will be allowed to leave in the summer, The Telegraph reports. But the want-away Austrian will not be leaving West Ham this month.

The 29-year-old, who has scored eight goals for West Ham this season, was dropped for last weekend’s trip to Bournemouth amid speculation about a move to China.
