Two players have left West Ham on a temporary basis this week. Nathan Trott has joined AFC Wimbledon on loan for the year. The England U20 goalkeeper, 20, will get his first flavour of senior league football with the Dons, who play in League One.

Meanwhile, Martin Samuelsen has extended his loan in Norway. The 22-year-old midfielder will stay with Haugesund until the end of the Norwegian season and he celebrated his new loan deal with a goal in the cup.

Players linked with West Ham

West Ham’s striker hunt continues. But it could be bad news on the Maxi Gomez front. The 22-year-old is reportedly holding out for a move to Tottenham Hotspur (The Mirror).

The Hammers’ main alternative is Salomon Rondon. The Venezuela striker scored 12 goals on loan at Newcastle last season but West Brom have knocked back a £10m-plus-players bid for the striker (The Mirror).

Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson is another option. West Ham will reportedly offer the England international a massive pay rise to tempt him to East London (The Mirror via HITC).

West Ham are also looking further afield and want Hoffenheim striker Andrej Kramaric. The 28-year-old Croatia international scored 22 goals last season, including 17 in the Bundesliga (Tutto Mercato Web via Tribal Football).

Another Hoffenheim player has been linked: Israeli youngster Ilay Elmkies. Although the 19-year-old midfielder is yet to make his first-team debut, he is attracting attention from West Ham and the two Manchester clubs (The Sun).

Many West Ham players have been linked with an exit. This includes Jordan Hugill and Sam Byram – the two players reportedly including in the aforementioned Rondon bid (The Mirror).

As well as Hugill, two other strikers could leave. Javier Hernandez has admitted that he would like to leave. After two seasons and 16 goals, the Mexican striker looks destined to depart (Goal).

Marko Arnautovic is another player linked with the exit door. Inter Milan, Fiorentina and Roma reportedly want the Austrian but West Ham want him to stay (The Daily Mail).

There is also an Italian queue to sign Hammers midfielder Pedro Obiang. Bologna are the latest club in the hunt for the 27-year-old (Calciomercato).
