It has been another busy week at West Ham. Here are the latest transfer rumours as of Friday 7th June.
Two players have arrived and two have left since last Friday. Goalkeepers Roberto and David Martin have joined on free transfers.
Roberto, 33, last played for Espanyol. Martin, who is the son of Hammers legend Alvin Martin, joins from bitter rivals Millwall. Both players have signed two-year deals and will provide back-up for Lukasz Fabianski.
West Ham have also sold two players. Lucas Perez has joined Deportivo Alaves after scoring six times in one season with the Hammers. The 30-year-old was frustrated by a lack of game time.
Edimilson Fernandes also departs. The Switzerland international, who spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Fiorentina, joins Bundesliga side Mainz on a permanent deal.
Players linked with West Ham
West Ham have reportedly given up on Andre Gomes as the Barcelona midfielder prefers a return to Everton. Instead, they will look at Newcastle United duo Isaac Hayden and Jonjo Shelvey, who will both cost around £15m (The London Evening Standard).
If the Hayden does not go ahead, West Ham could turn their attention to Kostas Fortounis. The Greek playmaker, 26, could cost £15m (The Daily Star).
Baptiste Santamaria is another central midfielder on West Ham’s wishlist. The Angers midfielder could cost up to £7m (L’Equipe via Sport Witness).
Alexis Claude-Maurice, who plays as a striker for Lorient, is also on West Ham’s radar. West Ham have bid £10m for the 21-year-old, who scored 14 goals this season (Sky Sports News).
The Irons continue to be linked with Guillermo Maripan. The Chilean centre-back could cost around £15m this summer (The Sun).
Another defender linked with West Ham is Hasan Ali Kaldirim. The 29-year-old Turkey international is the Fenerbahce captain and reportedly has a £4.42m release clause (BBC).
West Ham exit rumours
Manuel Lanzini has been linked with Fenerbahce. But West Ham want to offer the Argentina international a new long-term contract to fend off interest (The Mirror).
Young goalkeeper Nathan Trott will be allowed to head out on loan after Roberto and Martin were brought in. The 20-year-old could join AFC Wimbledon (South London Press).
