Lucas Perez seems to be the most likely West Ham departure before tonight’s deadline. Bundesliga club Schalke have made a bid for the 30-year-old, according to BBC Sport.

But Sky Sports News claim that the Spaniard is close to a permanent £3.5m move to Real Betis. Perez’s exit would open the door to a new striker signing at The London Stadium.

Reece Oxford has also been linked with an exit but West Ham have rejected a loan offer from Dutch club Heerenveen, as per Sky Sports News.

The 20-year-old defender has also been linked with Nottingham Forest and Eintracht Frankfurt (Sky Sports News) on permanent deals.

Another player who could leave today is Javier Hernandez. The Mexico international was the subject of a £7m bid from Valencia, which West Ham have rejected, as per Sky Sports News.

Olivier Giroud could be a target for the Hammers today. The Mirror reports that Marko Arnautovic’s injury could prompt a bid from West Ham for the Frenchman.

The 32-year-old could leave Chelsea after they signed Gonzalo Higuain.

Another Chelsea striker, Michy Batshuayi, could join West Ham. Guardian journalist Ed Aarons reports that West Ham have agreed a loan deal for the Belgium international.

But Real Betis have also agreed to loan in the 25-year-old, while Everton could launch a late bid. It is up to Batshuayi to decide where to go.

The Sun’s live blog has also thrown two wildcard options into the mix for West Ham. At 10.53am, they claimed Stoke City striker Mame Biram Diouf is a Hammers target.

And West Ham have also entered the race for Watford’s £30m-rated winger Gerard Deulofeu, according to their entry at 10.05am.
