West Ham have a weekend off during the international break. But there are still some Hammers in action. As well as the international players, two West Ham loanees were playing for their temporary clubs.
Aji Alese was not in action for Accrington Stanley as he is away with the England U19 squad in Marbella. But two others had a chance to make an impact in the Football League. Here is a summary of how they did.
Oladapo Afolayan has struggled since joining Mansfield Town on loan – often finding himself as an unused substitute. But he took his chance when introduced in the League Two clash with Oldham Athletic.
10-man Oldham were thrashed 6-1 by Mansfield with Afolayan scoring his first goal for the club. Up against the team he joined on loan last season, the 22-year-old made it 5-1 with a tap-in. His goal was set up by former Hammer Nicky Maynard, who scored a hat-trick of his own.
Afolayan also played a major role in the sixth goal. The former Solihull striker got the ball on the edge of the box, turned and was fouled. Jimmy Knowles stepped up and rounded off a good day for Mansfield, who moved up to 15th.

Nathan Trott also enjoyed a big win on Saturday afternoon. AFC Wimbledon moved out of the relegation zone with a huge 4-1 win away at fellow strugglers Southend United.
The 20-year-old kept his place between the sticks after saving a penalty against Leyton Orient in midweek. And he helped the Dons to three consecutive wins (their second successive league victory).
There was little Trott could have done about the Southend goal. But a hat-trick from Marcus Forss ensured Wimbledon returned from Essex with all three points.
