Reece Oxford has departed West Ham and joined FC Augsburg on loan until the end of the season, BBC Sport confirms.

The 20-year-old has not played under Manuel Pellegrini and returns to the Bundesliga, where he spent time with Borussia Monchengladbach last season.

There could be two strikers leaving West Ham before tonight’s deadline.

Javier Hernandez has been linked with Valencia but West Ham have turned down a £7m bid, as per Sky Sports News.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports News report that Lucas Perez could join Real Betis on a permanent deal.

West Ham have missed out on Michy Batshuayi, The Guardian reports. Chelsea and the Hammers had agreed a loan deal for the 25-year-old (Sky Sports News) but this has fallen through.

Two other options for West Ham are Stevan Jovetic (The Guardian) and Olivier Giroud (The Mirror).

But as the clock ticks, it looks increasingly unlikely that West Ham will sign anyone before the 11pm deadline.
