The Hammers welcome the Toffees to the London Stadium today for what is a hugely important game for both sides.

David Moyes’s team selection will be absolutely vital.

The Scot got it spot on for our game against Burnley on Monday.

And if he can outwit Carlo Ancelotti today, West Ham will be all but assured of playing European football next season.

Said Benrahma must start for West Ham against Everton

The 25-year-old ended up joining West Ham on a permanent £25 million deal last month, having spent the previous three months at the London Stadium on a £4 million loan deal (Eurosport).

He made a slow start to life at the London Stadium despite showing an odd flash of brilliance.

Benrahma proved his worth with a magnificent display against Burnley on Monday night, however.

The former Brentford ace just offers us something that we don’t otherwise possess.

Benrahma’s dribbling ability is second to none. It now seems that he has improved upon his decision making – something that David Moyes has been urging him to do for quite some time.

The Algeria international could be the difference maker for West Ham today. Moyes will surely give him another start at the London Stadium against the Toffees.

Everton will need to take the game to us this afternoon, and that may well play right into our hands.

Everything is set up perfectly for Benny to get his first goal for the Hammers.

Perhaps the only way that he will miss out is if Declan Rice makes an unexpected return to the side. Even if he does, however, it could be argued that someone else other than Benrahma should drop out.

One thing’s for sure. The Everton players will be buzzing if the 25-year-old isn’t named in the West Ham starting line-up.

Come on Moysie, do the right thing!
