West Ham United fans have used a clip of Barry from EastEnders to highlight the latest example of ‘big club’ bias.
West Ham coach far from impressed with players, sounds warning over their futures
Hammers star Jesse Lingard was the hot favourite to be named the Premier League player of the month for February.
His amazing impact has pushed West Ham right into the Champions League mix.

West Ham fans bemused by Lingard POTM snub
But West Ham fans were left bemused when Man City’s Ilkay Gundogan won the award instead – for the second month in a row (Sky Sports).
There is no denying Gundogan is also a top player. And he did score braces against both Liverpool and Tottenham in February.
Lingard scored three goals and provided two assists in February. But it is his all round performances which have elevated the entire West Ham team to another level.
The 28-year-old has won universal praise from fans and pundits across the football spectrum.

Gundogan wins gong for second month in a row despite widespread praise and majority fan vote for Hammer
But despite receiving 60% of fan votes for the February award, Lingard has been snubbed.
West Ham fans took to social media to voice their displeasure at the decision.
And one West Ham account has brilliantly trolled EA Sports and Premier League decision makers using a video of Barry from EastEnders – aka actor Shaun Williamson.
The clip shows Williamson singing ‘We’re gonna do it anyway’ – from a bizarre guest performance at an indoor bowls tournament which went viral back in 2014.

West Ham fans use Barry from EastEnders to troll Premier League and EA over Lingard snub
“EA when Lingard has 60% of the fan vote, is the outstanding favourite to win POTM and they have no legitimate reason to give it to a player from a top six club,” West Ham Central posted on Twitter.
West Ham are officially the most over-performing club in the Premier League compared to last season.
And David Moyes has led West Ham to fifth place in the table, just two points off the top four with a game in hand.
Yet West Ham’s players have been continually snubbed for the POTM award this season.
Michail Antonio was the last West Ham star to win the award at the end of last season.
