Juventus ace Aaron Ramsey will cost West Ham £22 million this summer, according to a report from Gazzette dello Sport.

Gazzetta dello Sport claimed a couple of days ago that Hammers boss David Moyes is keen to bring the 58-capped Wales international to the London Stadium.
The Scot might be looking to add some more creativity to his ranks at West Ham this summer. Especially if he sells the likes of Felipe Anderson and Manuel Lanzini.
The problem for the Hammers boss is that he has limited funds to spend, if any at all.
If Moyes manages to shift some of the deadwood, however, he may be able to bring in some of his top targets.
The Scot will undoubtedly be prioritising the additions of some new defenders this summer. If he does that and still has some cash left over, however, someone like Ramsey could be a useful addition.
Unlikely transfer nevertheless
Ramsey’s massive £250k-a-week wages (Evening Standard) will surely prove to be a huge stumbling block to any chance of West Ham signing the Welshman.
The Juventus ace is a top class player. At 29, however, he may well soon be on the downward curve of his career. Ramsey’s game is based on energy, stamina and athleticism. And the three-time FA Cup winner’s injury problems over the past few years should concern any potential buyers.
It’s a tricky one because if he remains fit for the next two or three years, signing him for £22 million would represent excellent value for West Ham.
We need to be realistic, however…we just haven’t got that kind of money at the moment.
Let’s hope things change though, and we can start competing for some of the players Moyes wants to sign. Perhaps Ramsey is out of our price-range. But the likes of Matty Cash, Eberechi Eze and Rico Henry shouldn’t be.
