West Ham United midfielder Carlos Soler has just admitted to doing a quite incredible thing a couple of months ago.
Carlos Soler joined West Ham from Paris Saint-Germain on loan in the summer transfer window.
The belief is said to be growing that Soler will join West Ham on a permanent deal from PSG in the summer.
The midfielder found it tough going during his early days at the London Stadium.
A lot of foreign imports struggle to get up to speed with Premier League football instantly.
So there’s no shame in the fact that Soler struggled to cope with the intensity of English football straight away.
However, over the past few weeks we have started to see what the PSG-owned midfielder is really all about.
Soler seems like he has real character as well, which is obviously a huge bonus for the Hammers.

The Spaniard is just starting to come into his own for the Hammers now.
I think he will be a great player for us if we manage to get a permanent deal done for him in the summer.
He clearly loves West Ham as a club as well, which is obviously a big plus for us.
When speaking to The Daily Mail, Soler made a quite astounding admission about something that he did back in December.
He was suspended for the clash with Brighton six weeks ago.
And the Spaniard opened up about going to the match at the London Stadium as a fan, and sitting amongst the Hammers supporters.
The 27-year-old said, “They didn’t recognise me. It was nice, I enjoyed it. It’s not a problem to take photos with fans because when I was in the Valencia academy, I wanted pictures with the first-team players but, in this moment, I preferred not to be recognised so I can go with them and experience match-day like a fan’.“

The Spanish midfielder showed his quality during our 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Monday night.
The Gareth Bale-esque bit of brilliance he showed in the second-half when he took the ball around Reece James and burned the Chelsea defender for pace was brilliant to see.
He showed another side to his game as well, with three tackles, one interception and one clearance against the Blues (Who Scored).
The former Valencia man is clearly so much more than a technically gifted footballer.
Carlos Soler is a brilliant player, and I firmly believe he has a key role to play for West Ham, but only in the middle of the park.
I don’t like it when he’s jettisoned out on the left wing because it seems like he doesn’t get involved enough in the game.
The fact that he went to the London Stadium to watch a game from the stands says a lot about him, and how much he wants to embed himself into the East End culture.
Once he’s fully settled in at West Ham, both on and off the pitch, Carlos Soler will be a fantastic player for us.
