Jean-Clair Todibo has informed West Ham what he wants this summer after falling out with a third Hammers manager in a row following a bust-up with Nuno Espirito Santo at the end of last season.

Jean-Clair Todibo was seen as the jewel in the crown of West Ham’s big spending summer window under Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten – but he has failed miserably to live up to the hype.

The much-maligned technical director jetted out to Nice to persuade Todibo to choose West Ham over Juventus and he joined on a season-long loan with a £35m obligation to buy.

Todibo makes demand to West Ham in wake of Nuno row

That was money very badly spent as Todibo has looked unfit, unfocused, uninterested and more Championship than Champions League level at times.

Well he literally helped drag West Ham down to his level as they will be playing Championship football next season after relegation from the Premier League.

How would you feel if Kretinsky brought Disasi BACK to West Ham? 🇫🇷

When the Hammers went to Newcastle for their must-not-lose penultimate match of last season, Todibo looked like he was half asleep as he cost West Ham dear with some comical defending before being hauled off after just 25 minutes.

The French defender, who fell out with Lopetegui and Graham Potter then had Nuno Espirito Santo in his sights as he walked off the St James’ Park pitch laughing and shaking his head.

It has been widely reported that Todibo told Nuno he would never play for him again.

A week later he was nowhere to be seen in the Hammers squad with reports claiming he refused to make himself available for selection.

Todibo is one of several players West Ham are looking to offload this summer, if they can find any takers.

But what does the player himself want to do after a couple of months of reflection and returning to pre-season training?

Todibo still wants out of West Ham and is trying to force move

Reports have emerged claiming Todibo has told West Ham he still wants out of the club after his major bust-up with Nuno.

According to French outlet Foot01, Todibo has told the Hammers he has absolutely no intention of playing in the Championship.

What do the stats tell us about £17m Gustavo Sa? 🇵🇹

Is he a more complete player than Fernandes was when leaving Portugal?

The irony that Todibo has looked like a Championship player will not be lost on West Ham fans.

Not only has Todibo told West Ham he wants out, he is actively trying to force a move according to the report.

It is claimed by the site that Marseille want to bring the 26-year-old back to France – but they must sell players before they can afford to buy.

At this stage West Ham would be best off cutting their losses on Todibo and selling for anything around £20m.

Worst case scenario the club should offer him up to clubs on loan with an obligation to buy – like the deal West Ham signed him on in the first place.
