West Ham United parted ways with David Moyes at the end of last season.
Julen Lopetegui came into the London Stadium to replace David Moyes, and it’s already clear to see that the Spaniard was the wrong appointment by West Ham.

However, that doesn’t mean that the decision to move on Moyes was the wrong one. The two things aren’t mutually exclusive.
The Scot had run his race at West Ham.
He was offered a new contract at the end of 2023 – one that was eventually taken away from him after a horror run of results from New Year’s Day up until late February.
Things got worse and worse as the season carried on, and it was actually quite a sad way for Moyes’s West Ham tenure to come to an end.
During his spell at the club he brought us our first major trophy since 1980, and I’ll be forever grateful to him for that.
However, it was clear as day that Moyes had hit his ceiling in East London.
What David Moyes has told Sullivan will worry West Ham fans
The Scot is still out of work, having left the London Stadium over six months ago.
I’m sure that a lower level Premier League club will bring Moyes in soon in a bid to guide them away from relegation trouble.
He has actually been linked with a return to his former club Everton.
However, what I don’t ever want to see is the 61-year-old back in charge of West Ham.
According to The Sun, that’s actually a possibility.
Moyes has apparently informed Hammers co-owner David Sullivan of his availability, and has refused to rule out a third spell in charge.
That will make the Hammers fans very nervous indeed. Words fail me, they really do.
Now, I’m not saying that because Moyes didn’t do a great job on the whole for us.
In fact, the Scot was probably the most successful manager we’ve had at West Ham in decades.
However, it’s time for us all to move on. The final five months of his tenure were truly horrendous.
The football reached new level of turgidness with the Scot at the helm, and our performances in general were absolute garbage.
West Ham conceded 74 Premier League goals last season – a tally worsened only by the three relegated clubs.
As much as David Moyes brought some genuine success to West Ham, he oversaw real regression last season, as poisonous levels of complacency set in at the club.
Whilst Julen Lopetegui should be sacked as soon as possible, appointing David Moyes to replace him would be a real backwards step from West Ham.
