West Ham fans have been impressed with their new kits this summer and now Umbro look set to complete a clean sweep with a sublime third kit.
Umbro has redeemed itself this summer after some questionable West Ham kits in the past.
The club’s kit manufacturer has got things spot on so far with a beautiful new West Ham home strip and a sleek black away too.
Umbro has also nailed the claret and blue colouring on the home kit this season, something it has failed miserably on in the past.
It has incorporated St Mary-le-Bow Church in the away shirt in a nod to West Ham’s cockney heritage.
Poor efforts – and a perceived lack of effort – in the designs of the West Ham kit in previous seasons had some Hammers fans calling on the club to switch to a different manufacturer.
Hammers to release new strip this Friday?
But the firm has very much clawed back credibility among West Ham supporters with it’s two new kits.
Now it looks like the company will complete a clean sweep.
An image circulating showing what the new kit will look like has been shared by a top level West Ham board source.
Sean Whetstone counts the likes of West Ham vice-chair Karren Brady among his close contacts.
He has said the image on social media ahead of a potential release on Friday this week.
And West Ham’s new white and claret third kit with gold features is a work of art from Umbro.

The kit has been mocked up a Hammers fan with an eye for design and is a likeness of the real thing.
West Ham’s third kit is white with a claret badge featuring writing and crossed Hammers in gold.
It has a claret collar and the crossed Hammers emblem embroidered across the shirt.
The new third kit, which you can see in the post below, could be announced this Friday according to Whetstone.
If accurate the kit will also have claret and gold piping on the trim of the sleeves.
West Ham’s new third kit will also have claret piping on the sides if true to the real thing.
The kit has been well received by fans on social media.
It’s easy to see why. It is the perfect blend of new and retro and really does look the business.
Clean sweep for kit manufacturer
Umbro have faced plenty of criticism in the past but the firm has really pulled it out of the bag for the Hammers this season.
Many will be wishing this was the club’s away kit so they might see it worn by the team more often.
With West Ham’s black away strip potentially clashing with many of the home strips of the opposition this season, though, we may see the third shirt more than often than we have in previous seasons.
Umbro has made kits for West Ham United across several periods in the club’s history – including the club’s first ever replica shirts.
The club’s latest kit deal with Umbro, which began in 2015, was extended in a long-term agreement.
But the end date and financial details have not been publicly disclosed.
On this evidence they have earned the right to continue.
