Among all of the massive stars at Stamford Bridge, Mount has arguably established himself as the most important player who Thomas Tuchel has at his disposal.
The 22-year-old – Declan Rice’s best friend, has racked up eight goals and seven assists in 47 games for Chelsea this season (Transfermarkt).

In 32 Premier League games for the Blues, he has averaged 2.2 shots, 2.4 key passes and 1.3 dribbles per match. He has averaged 47.8 passes per game during those appearances with a hugely impressive completion rate of 86.9% (Who Scored).
The 22-year-old, who earns £88k-a-week (Spotrac) has tremendous quality, energy and desire. He really is a role model for younger players coming through the ranks.
Pablo Fornals raves about Mason Mount
The Chelsea ace is a really unassuming character. He has proved this season that he can mix it with the very best, however.
West Ham man Pablo Fornals responded when asked who the Blues’ best player is, when speaking exclusively to Spanish media outlet Onda Cero:

“Mason Mount. With how young he is and the position he is taking, he is a footballer to take into account.”
That is quite the praise considering how many superstars are currently at Chelsea.
Mount has everything needed to go on and become one of those superstars, and more.
If the Blues ace continues to work hard, the sky will be the limit for him.
And Fornals’ comments prove just how highly his peers rate him.
