West Ham United loanees Josh Landers and Junior Robinson are now just one game away from making history with Boreham Wood.

Landers joined Boreham Wood on loan in March 2026, following Robinson there after the latter’s loan spell with Livingston was cut short.

What a sorry old mess 😪 How have we let it slip AGAIN?!

Robinson has only made five appearances for the Wood and none of those have come since mid-March.

Striker Landers, meanwhile, has been involved much more regularly. The 19-year-old has made eight appearances – one of which came from the start – and has scored one goal.

Part of the Boreham Wood squad who beat Carlisle United in the National League play-offs, the forward is set to go to Wembley.

Indeed, Landers came off the bench as the Hertfordshire outfit beat Carlisle on Saturday.

It means the club will meet Rochdale in the play-off final at Wembley next week, with the winner set to follow York City up into English Football League.

Across their 78-year history, Boreham Wood have never been promoted to the English Football League.

Winning on Sunday would be the icing on the cake following an already successful season for them.

Landers has impressed at Boreham Wood despite his relative lack of action.

Even playing a bit-part role would be some achievement for a player still getting used to life in senior football.

Indeed, Landers is a highly-rated young talent and it would be a remarkable start to his career if he can help get his team over the line.

The Scot would duly return to the West Ham academy with a feather in his cap, as well as some crucial experience.
