West Ham have been likened to pub chain Wetherspoons and Spurs to Pret A Manger in a hilarious viral football video doing the rounds.

West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur share a fierce rivalry and are battling it out for a place in the top four this season.

The Hammers are currently fifth, two places and one point above Tottenham who are seventh.

But both West Ham and Spurs are enjoying a winter break from the heat of the battle for the European spots.

West Ham and Tottenham fans can kick back and relax for another week or so too.

Perhaps with a pint at Wetherspoons or a glass of hibiscus water at Pret A Manger.

That’s if West Ham and Tottenham are true to the comparisons made between them and restaurants in a hilarious new viral football video.

The video by GiveMeSport is called ‘If Premier League clubs were restaurants’. And it is the perfect boredom buster during the break from football.

In it West Ham are likened to pub chain Wetherspoons while rivals Spurs are compared to Pret A Manger.

“West Ham, Wetherspoons,” GiveMeSport’s clever video states.

“Proper British!

“Come on in if you think you’re hard enough. Great value despite the carpets not being what you’d expect from fine dining.”

Arsenal are compared to Greggs just before arch rivals Tottenham get a good ribbing in the video too.

“Tottenham, Pret A Manger,” the video narrator reveals.

“Thinks it’s better than Greggs but £6.50 for a smashed avocado Panini and a bottle of pomegranate and hibiscus still water is neither a meal or a deal.”

Other funny comparisons in the video include Manchester United being likened to McDonald’s with the lines ‘Massive but not as good as you remember when you were a kid’ and ‘a good place for temp work’.
