Crysencio Summerville remains West Ham’s major injury worry heading into their FA Cup clash with Leeds on Sunday.
Summerville is still recovering from a calf injury, one that has ruled him out of action since the FA Cup win over Brentford last month.
DISCUSS: This is the West Ham XI that needs to be named against Leeds
West Ham United clearly need their key players fit as they look to balance their cup campaign with a bid for Premier League survival.
With that in mind, Hammers News looks at the latest West Ham injury news and potential return dates.
Crysencio Summerville
Summerville remains a doubt for West Ham against Leeds, although head coach Nuno Espirito Santo was typically rather vague about it all.
Speaking ahead of the game, Nuno confirmed: “We’re assessing him day by day, and seeing how he improves.
“We aren’t at the point [of making a decision] yet. There’s still one day to go, and then we’ll make decisions.”

West Ham would have to play away games for THREE WEEKS! ⚽
It remains to be seen whether the Dutchman can feature on Sunday, though playing him even if he is fit would feel like something of a risk.
West Ham, of course, play Wolves in a Premier League six-pointer less than a week later and the winger will be needed then.
Potential return date: April 2026
Konstantinos Mavropanos
Key defender Konstantinos Mavropanos was another fitness concern to have emerged over the international break.
Indeed, Mavropanos suffered a head injury while playing for Greece against Paraguay and subsequently missed their next game against Hungary.
That was a huge concern for the club, given the defender’s importance to the cause.
However, in good news, Mavropanos was pictured in seemingly good spirits arriving at Rush Green on Friday.
Potential return date: April 2026

Jean-Clair Todibo
Another concern for West Ham on the defensive front was the fitness of Jean-Clair Todibo.
Todibo suffered a calf injury before West Ham played against Aston Villa in March, pulling out of the team during the warm-up.
However, Hammers News understands that Todibo is likely to return to full fitness for West Ham soon.
A spokesperson of the club said: “With Todibo it is a bit more straightforward and the two-week break should give him time to be back ready.
“Whether he is risked in the cup is up to the manager.”
Nuno didn’t mention the Frenchman in his pre-match press conference, so it remains to be seen if he features on Sunday.
Potential return date: April 2026
