The 24-year-old Barca left-back would be a superb addition for the Hammers this summer.
David Moyes needs to bring more quality competition and cover for Aaron Cresswell to the London Stadium before the start of next season.
And Junior Firpo would certainly constitute that.

West Ham in advanced talks to sign Barcelona defender
Sport (Print edition, June 2nd, page 11) claims that the Hammers have been in advanced talks with the Catalan giants for days in an attempt to thrash out a deal for the 24-year-old star.
The Spanish left-back is exactly the kind of signing West Ham should be making this summer.
Firpo has been described as an outstanding player who excels in 1v1’s, both from an attacking and a defensive perspective (Total Football Analysis). The 24-year-old has also been compared to legendary left-backs Roberto Carlos and Marcelo (La Liga Analysis).

He could be up for grabs for just £13 million as well (Calcio Mercato).
This is one that West Ham need to get wrapped up as soon as possible.
According to Sport, that’s exactly what the Hammers are trying to do.

Let’s just hope that we can convince Firpo that the London Stadium is the right place for him to play his football next season.
