With deadline day fast approaching, West Ham United need to get down to business urgently when it comes to transfers.
The January transfer window has so far yielded no signings for West Ham, and deadline day is now just 72 hours away.
Graham Potter must know that he needs to strengthen his ranks at the London Stadium, despite what he’s been saying in the press.
The Hammers’ transfer business is expected to kick into gear now, following the arrival of recruitment guru Kyle Macaulay.
The need for new arrivals at West Ham is an urgent one now.

Our squad is incredibly depleted, and the Hammers board need to back Potter to the hilt.
It seems like the West Ham head coach could be about to make a big splash in the transfer market.
West Ham make move to sign superb player before deadline day
The Hammers are said to be ready to finally make some big moves in the market.
Our need for a striker and a powerful central midfielder has been well-documented already.
However, it could be argued that we need to sign a top-class central defender as well.
Now Tuttomercartoweb are claiming that West Ham have made an approach to sign AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori ‘within the last few hours’.
Described as ‘spectacular’ by Sky Sports, Tomori has absolutely everything that we’re lacking at the London Stadium right now.

The 27-year-old would be a truly sensational signing for the Hammers.
Tomori centre-back is a top-class player, and it goes without saying that he’d be a big upgrade on Konstantinos Mavropanos.
The former Chelsea man is incredibly strong in the air, and possesses decent pace. He’s an intelligent defender and his positional awareness is absolutely spot on.
I think he would improve the way we defend as a team immediately, what with his organisational skills and leadership.
If West Ham manage to sign Fikayo Tomori before deadline day, it will be great news for the club as far as I’m concerned.
