Mohammed Kudus seems destined to leave West Ham United sooner rather than later.
West Ham signed Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus from Ajax in the summer of 2023, and he enjoyed an exceptional debut campaign in East London.
However, his form has fallen off a cliff this season unfortunately. That hasn’t stopped Mohammed Kudus from being linked with a big-money move away from West Ham.
The Hammers signed the 24-year-old for an initial £36 million (Sky Sports), and despite his poor form this season, that will still end up looking like a great deal for the East London outfit.

That’s because of Kudus’s release clause. Even if West Ham don’t get the full amount for the former Ajax man, he definitely won’t be leaving the London Stadium for anything less than £60 million.

It’s a win-win situation for Graham Potterin fairness, with a guaranteed massive profit incoming for West Ham from the potential Kudus sale.
However, the latest club being linked with a move to sign Mo Kudus will certainly raise some eyebrows amongst the Hammers fanbase.
Tottenham want to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham
It’s common knowledge that the explosive attacker is being strongly linked with a London Stadium exit in the summer transfer window.
Numerous clubs are said to be keen to prise him away from the Hammers.
However, West Ham fans will be shocked to learn the latest team being linked with a move to sign the 24-year-old.
According to Ghanasoccernet, Tottenham want to sign Kudus from West Ham this summer.
Calm down though Hammers fans – there is absolutely no chance that Kudus will join Spurs.
Let’s face it, the Hammers hardly ever sell to Tottenham. The last time that happened was when Scott Parker left West Ham to move to north London way back in 2011.
And secondly, Tottenham are hardly an attractive prospect right now are they. They will have no European football on offer next season and are still in the midst of somewhat of a rebuild.
This one won’t be happening.
Kudus has three different release clauses at West Ham
The Hammers owners actually included three separate clauses into Kudus’s deal when they brought him to the club just under two years ago.

David Ornstein shared a big update on the Ghana international just last week.
In order to buy Kudus, Saudi clubs will have to pay £120 million.
Meanwhile, clubs in the Premier League must meet a clause worth £85 million to prise him away from the London Stadium.
And European clubs will have to pay £80 million to sign the 24-year-old forward.
If Hammers fans are all being honest with themselves, the Ghanaian will probably not fetch that kind of money this summer.
However, £60 million would still represent very good value for him. Considering Mohammed Kudus’s form this season, that would actually be a great result for West Ham.
Whatever happens though, you can be rest assured that the Ghana star will not be joining Tottenham this summer.
