The 27-year-old joined the Hammers in the summer of 2019 from Eintracht Frankfurt for around £45 million (BBC).

Haller was a complete flop at the London Stadium, however, and scored just 14 goals in 54 games for West Ham (Transfermarkt).

He was moved on by David Moyes in January. The Ivory Coast international left the Hammers to link up with Ajax for around £20 million.

Haller has bagged 15 goals and eight assists in 27 games for the Dutch outfit thus far.

Seeing Michail Antonio firing on all cylinders this season makes it even clearer to see just how ill-suited the Ivorian was to the Hammers’ style of play.
