West Ham fans have joined the discussion via the brand new TalkingPoints feature to discuss the Premier League relegation battle.

Nuno Espirito Santo was in serious sack danger, but recent results have helped him secure his job for now.

However, West Ham are still in the relegation zone and are five points behind Nottingham Forest in 17th place.

Summerville, Todibo and Mavropanos are firing at last!

Is your view of the Tim Steidten era changing? Or has the damage been done? 💸

West Ham fans react to recent results

The Hammers fans have been interacting regularly with TalkingPoints to voice their views on everything that has been happening at the club.

It most certainly has not been a season worth remembering, but that has not stopped the supporters from diligently following the team and interacting with like-minded fans to discuss all things West Ham.

Relegation and Nuno’s future are two of the things that fans have been talking about the most, but there appears to be optimism going into the final four months of the season.

“Don’t know where West Ham is going to finish, but one thing for sure: we are not going to be relegated,” said one fan when asked by Hammers News about the club’s survival chances.

How many points would West Ham have taken from their last two games if Lucas Paqueta had been playing? 🤔

Maybe I’m harsh, but I just don’t think he suits this team anymore…

Another added: “It’s all starting to click. Nuno is now getting the best out of Summerville and Paqueta (who?) not playing is allowing ‘Mighty Matty’ to run the midfield. It’s all giving us a real chance. I’d be happy with a mid-table finish.”

Two fans believe that the resurgence in form will be enough to keep the team up.

One wrote: “17th would be ok”, while the other has been more optimistic and has predicted the team to finish in 14th.

The players have also been urged to show up and not throw Nuno under the bus, with one supporter saying: “There is only so much Nuno can do. It’s all up to the players to fight to stay up, but I fear it may be too little too late. Still, miracles can happen, so I’m praying more than ever!”

How Nuno Espirito Santo can turn things around at West Ham

Nuno knew that he would be backed in the January transfer window, and it is good to see Taty Castellanos gelling well with the team.

Another centre-back, together with Adama Traore, will give West Ham the tools they need to dominate games and pick up key points along the way.

It’s important for Nuno and his staff to keep the standards high behind the scenes and ensure that there is no slacking of any kind.

The players have responded to his methods of late and fans will be hoping that this continues until the end of the season.
