West Ham fans can’t agree about Felipe Anderson’s performances so far for the club.

After a second defeat out of two on Saturday to Bournemouth, supporters are already looking for answers.

Despite taking the lead through Marko Arnatuvic’s first-half penalty, Calum Wilson and Steve Cook struck in the second-half. The match ended with no further say from the Hammers, who looked pedestrian too often.

Fans took aim at several of their stars, with many in agreement about the under-performing of certain players. However, fans were split when speaking about Anderson.

The 25-year-old signed for the Hammers for a club-record fee of £36million from Lazio. Despite that, fans have yet to see what the Brazilian midfielder can offer after a slow start to the campaign.

Supporters were split on Twitter, however, about how much time to give the new-man:

The lack of pace will be the most alarming cause for concern in Anderson’s case. The Brazilian, who comes with decent pedigree, will need to start making an impact and soon if he’s to justify his record fee.

West Ham are back in action once again next weekend when the travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal. Both clubs have lost their opening two games, but West Ham can’t be as slow against Unai Emery’s quick side.
