West Ham target Ruben Loftus-Cheek is now being lined up by soon-to-be Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri with the Chelsea midfielder having really impressed the Italian, according Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Hammers have been keeping a close eye on the 25-year-old Blues ace for quite some time now (the Express).
With David Moyes in desperate need of bolstering his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium, Loftus-Cheek would be the ideal addition for West Ham.
The Hammers may well have their work cut-out, however.
Former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri will imminently be named as the new Lazio boss (Metro).
West Ham face battle for Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Sarri allegedly wants to bring the 25-year-old Chelsea midfielder to the Italian capital.
That may well prove to be an attractive prospect for RLC.
The Blues ace is the kind of player Moyes should be going all out to sign this summer.
He is incredibly technically gifted and has the ability to physically dominate opponents what with his 6ft 3in frame.
Loftus-Cheek has pace and power in abundance. He is very versatile as well.
The 25-year-old, who earns £60k-a-week at Stamford Bridge (Spotrac), faces a bleak future at Stamford Bridge considering the wealth of options Thomas Tuchel has at his disposal.
West Ham should be able to prise him away from Chelsea, as long as they’re prepared to pay the west London outfit what they want of course.
He could be available for around £18 million (Football Italia).
