It was a huge three Premier League points for West Ham and the fact that it piled further misery onto Tottenham was a bonus for the Hammers fans.
Crysencio Summerville led West Ham to victory against Tottenham, putting in one of his best performances in a Hammers shirt.
West Ham’s hopes of avoiding relegation were massively boosted by the win over Spurs.

Now the hard work really begins with a home game against Sunderland today (Saturday).
The good news is that Nuno Espirito Santo now has someone on his coaching staff who he really wanted at the club.
Paco Jemez joined the Hammers last week and has seemingly already made a big impression at the London Stadium.
West Ham coach admits something about Tottenham shocked him
Jemez turned down multiple offers before joining West Ham as a first-team coach.
And life with the Hammers could not have got off to a better start, with the win against Spurs last Saturday.
Perez was genuinely taken aback during the clash with the north London club.
When speaking to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, Jemez made an admission about Tottenham’s stadium.

He said: “I saw a pitch that blew me away. My goodness, what a pitch, what an atmosphere, everything.
“The experience is incredible.”
Jemez is right. Spurs’ stadium is truly incredible unlike the London Stadium that was forced onto the West Ham fans by the owners.
West Ham fans will be envious of Tottenham’s ground
Moving forward, the Hammers need to find a way to make the London Stadium more suitable for football.
The acoustics are truly horrendous, and the fact that the fans are so far away from the pitch is a huge problem.

Not one single West Ham fan wanted to leave Upton Park and if there are any who did, I have never met them.
The Hammers faithful were made promises about how the move to the London Stadium would enable them to compete with the big boys of European football.
However, that clearly hasn’t happened.
And as hard as it will be to admit for the West Ham fans, they will surely be extremely envious of Tottenham’s magnificent stadium.
