West Ham are officially massive as the club gets its own place in the ‘world’s greatest soccer store’ in the heart of New York City.

Hammers fans have been trying to tell the world that West Ham are massive everywhere they go for the last couple of years.

There are many things West Ham can point to as evidence of the club’s dramatic progress since David Moyes returned to east London in 2020.

Sixth and seventh placed finishes, signing a host of exciting international stars and of course a European trophy courtesy of that unforgettable night in Prague back in June.

But if further proof is needed, then it comes from the Big Apple.

They say you’ve only made it when you’ve cracked America.

Well West Ham are certainly making some inroads in that regard it seems.

Pele Soccer has four giant stores in the US – one of which is on Broadway in Times Square, New York.

The store is lined with kits and gear from some of the most famous clubs across the planet.

And we’re proud to report West Ham have their place among them.

West Ham’s home and away kits are physically on display in the store.

The Hammers and Everton are the only clubs outside the so-called Big Six to be represented.

Showing your support for West Ham doesn’t come cheap, though.

Bowen seen as West Ham’s key man in US

A Hammers shirt in the New York store will set you back between $100 and $140 – that’s around £80-115.

West Ham’s Prague hero and top scorer Jarrod Bowen is clearly seen as the star man.

Some of the shirts on sale are pre-printed with Bowen’s name and number 20. Hardly a surprise given his form and the fact he’s signed a new seven-year deal. But undoubtedly a thrill for him and his famili all the same.

Rivals Spurs had some shirts hanging close by. It’s safe to say they were covered by West Ham strips before leaving, the kind of petty banter we can all appreciate when over land and sea.
