It has been a superb start to the new season for West Ham.
Unbeaten and with three wins from four games so far, the Hammers are sitting pretty in the top four of the fledgling Premier League table.
And that has been reflected by West Ham’s representation in the running to win some top early season honours.
Hammers supporters will likely be aware Jarrod Bowen has been nominated for the Premier League’s August player of the month while manager David Moyes is one of the candidates for the manager of the month gong.

Bowen, who has three goals and an assist in four games, and Moyes are surely serious contenders for the player and manager awards.
But Bowen has also been nominated for the Premier League’s goal of the month award for August for his striker against Bournemouth.
Many feel his run, first touch control and finish for the killer goal in the win at Brighton was a contender for goal of the season. But somehow that has not even made the list for goal of the month.

And Alphonse Areola is in the mix for save of the month for one of his many stops in the win at Brighton.
Now it’s down to a mass fan vote to decide who scoops the awards.
