Vladimir Coufal shared why he respects West Ham man Craig Dawson, when speaking to Football.London last night.
In other news…Report: £65k-a-week West Ham ace in line for shock start against Dinamo Zagreb
The 31-year-old centre-back joined the Hammers on loan from Watford last summer.
His move to the London Stadium was made permanent this summer for around £2 million (The Athletic).

And considering how much Dawson cost, along with his £42k-a-week wages (Spotrac) he has proven to be an excellent value for money signing for West Ham.
Vladimir Coufal shared why he respects West Ham man Craig Dawson
The Czech Republic international has nearly been at the London Stadium for a year now. He joined the club at a similar time to Dawson.
And the 29-year-old right-back explained why he has so much respect for the former Watford and West Brom defender:

“Craig Dawson is in the gym every day after breakfast, every day he goes to work for himself. It is not just about me – every second player at West Ham works hard for the team.”
There are some sections of the West Ham fanbase who don’t rate Dawson whatsoever.
That’s fine, the game is all about opinions. He has been rather poor this season so far as well. Having said that, he did play well against Southampton and Leicester City.
What cannot be argued, however, is the 31-year-old’s commitment, work-rate and desire to do the best that he can for the Hammers.
He will be a vital player for us this season, that’s for sure.

And perhaps Coufal’s comments on Dawson will make some of the defender’s critics at least give him the respect he deserves.
