The Czech Republic international has forged a wonderful partnership with the Englishman in the middle of the park since moving to the London Stadium.
The duo have established themselves as one of the best central midfield partnerships in the Premier League.
Soucek has been brilliant this season, scoring eight Premier League goals.

Rice, meanwhile, has been at his outstanding best week in week out. He sometimes doesn’t get the headlines he deserves because he doesn’t score or provide assists on a regular basis.
Tomas Soucek blow away by West Ham teammate
Dec puts in 8 or 9/10 performances every time he takes to the pitch. And keeping hold of him for the foreseeable future should be one of West Ham’s main priorities over the next 12 months.
Tomas Soucek shared why Declan Rice is so vitally important to the Hammers, when speaking to the club’s official website:

“I know he’s a really good leader on the pitch and in the changing room as well. He’s a really good guy and everyone knows how hard he works and the other guys are inspired by him and what he can do for us. I am seeing him every day in training, so I know his quality and I think he will show us much more in the future because his qualities are incredible. For us and our team, he’s really important.”
Soucek is spot on here.
Rice’s energy, determination, tenacity and constant drive are contagious. He is a real leader as well.
At just 22, Rice has already picked up the mantle of team captain and leader with Mark Noble no longer a regular feature for West Ham.
The 13-capped England international has absolutely everything.
And judging by Soucek’s comments, he has the utmost respect from his peers at the London Stadium as well.
