Tim Steidten has left the country amid his West Ham exit he won’t go out quietly according to one board source.
Speculation has swirled over the future of Tim Steidten at West Ham of late and his time looks to be at an end.
The writing has been on the wall for demoted technical director Steidten for some time.
Steidten declared his ‘euphoria’ at having full control of West Ham’s recruitment ahead of the summer window.
With David Moyes – and his power of veto – gone, the German was effectively handed control of the entire football operation by the Hammers.
With his own terrace chant, Steidten was hailed a hero by many West Ham fans for bringing the likes of Mohammed Kudus to the club before overseeing nine signings to the tune of £155m in the summer.

Steidten will spill beans on West Ham claims board source
But the Irons technical director has faced an uncertain future with West Ham struggling badly this season and a number of signings failing to fire.
When Julen Lopetegui was sacked earlier this month, reports claimed Steidten would be next.
Amid the speculation, Graham Potter was asked whether he was looking forward to working with the man who had fallen out with both Moyes and Lopetegui before their departures.
Potter’s response to a blunt Steidten question was very revealing as he did not mention the technical director by name.
West Ham paid Chelsea £1.2m to reunite Potter with recruitment guru Kyle Macauley this week.
Potter delivered the knockout blow for Steidten at West Ham yesterday when he confirmed Macauley will be the club’s new head of recruitment.
Now two board sources have made big claims about the departing ‘pearl diver’.
Steidten will spill beans on West Ham claims one board source as another reveals the technical director has now left the country.
Sean Whetstone, who counts the likes of David Sullivan and Karren Brady among his contacts, has revealed Steidten’s lawyers are currently negotiating his terms of compensation.

Hammers technical director Steidten leaves country
And he has revealed Steidten has now left the country with no access to club premises or IT systems.
Whetstone says Steidten ‘remains an employee of West Ham’ while the terms of his compensation are thrashed out.
As Steidten leaves the club, it seems he may not go quietly.
Because another site with board sources, Claret and Hugh, predict ‘drama’ to come and claim he is likely to reveal his side of the story soon.
It’s claimed Steidten will have his say on what has been a period of major upheaval behind the scenes.
The site states that Steidten’s bust-ups with Moyes and Lopetegui have gone against him.
‘Bust-ups and transfer flops went against Steidten’
As have the specific signings of Luis Guilherme, Jean-Clair Todibo and Niclas Fullkrug.
Whether any compensation package will see Steidten gagged regarding how much detail he reveals remains to be seen.
It has been noted this season that Steidten had courted the limelight until things started going badly wrong.
The ex Werder Bremen director spoke at Lopetegui’s press conference unveiling, conducted TV interviews on the day of games, was seen pitchside on game day, travelling on the first team coach and was even seen speaking to players in the tunnel ahead of kick-off.
All that stopped as West Ham’s season went from bad to worse and relations with Lopetegui soured.
They say there’s two sides to every story.
It seems the board source believes we will soon hear Steidten’s version of events.
And it could certainly make for very interesting reading indeed.
