Jarrod Bowen has been an outstanding player for West Ham United over the last five years.

He’s been in fine form once again this season, and has been touted for a big money move to Liverpool.
Julen Lopetegui is clearly a huge fan of Bowen, and he named the 28-year-old as the new Hammers captain back in the summer.
Whilst I have never been convinced by his leadership skills, I have to admit that he appears to be growing into the role.
I would suggest that pound for pound, Bowen has been our best signing since the turn of the century.
He clearly has very high standards, and now a new claim has been made about him away from match-days.

The 28-year-old has been one of the rare bright sparks for the Hammers this season.
His consistent form has helped us through some really rough waters, and it could be argued that Lopetegui would be out of a job now if it weren’t for the England international.
But what is he like behind the scenes at the London Stadium?
Well a big claim has emerged today about how he’s viewed by his teammates, but I actually think it’s a good thing.
According to a report from The Athletic, Bowen is the most ‘annoying player during training’ at West Ham.
“Bowen is very unassuming but knows when it is appropriate to strike a different chord. This month, Bowen, Danny Ings, Max Kilman and Aaron Cresswell had to decide who was the most annoying in training. They were unanimous: it was Bowen. His demands have led to an unbeaten run, which has been crucial for Lopetegui’s future.“
Quite what that means, I don’t actually know! I presume it’s in reference to how demanding he is of his teammates during training sessions.
And if that is indeed the case, I think it’s a great sign that Jarrod Bowen is growing into his role as club captain at West Ham.
On paper, he has everything needed to go on and become a real legend at the London Stadium.
And I have absolutely no doubts he will do exactly that.
Maybe he’ll prove me wrong and go on to become an outstanding captain for West Ham United as well.
