The Hammers have been absolutely brilliant this season.
David Moyes has performed miracles since taking over at the London Stadium for the second time in December 2019.
Tomorrow’s clash against Manchester City at the Etihad will be a huge test of our development, however.
West Ham are currently sitting pretty in fourth spot in the Premier League table, two points clear of fifth placed Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Manchester City have been in a league of their own this season and are currently 10 points clear at the top of the table.
Pep Guardiola speaks very highly of West Ham
The Hammers will have to be at their very best of they are to have any chance whatsoever of taking a positive result back to East London with them.
At least we’re heading to Manchester in confident mood, however.
Man City boss Guardiola could not have spoken higher of West Ham this afternoon, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News:
“They are in a Champions League position. That is not a good run, it is many months and they are there. It means how strong they are. What I saw is the rhythm increased a lot on previous seasons.”
Those comments will make the West Ham fans feel very proud of their team.
David Moyes has certainly instilled some pride back into the team, the fans and the football club as a whole.
And if it has been noticed by the world’s best manager, that can only be a good thing for the Hammers.
