Sheth claims player West Ham agreed to sell now at London Stadium for Bournemouth game in late twist

West Ham play host to Bournemouth in the Premier League tonight, and there could be a late transfer twist on the cards.

Pablo Fornals has seemingly agreed a €10 million (£8.5 million) deal to move from West Ham to Real Betis (Fabrizio Romano), but he’s currently at the London Stadium ahead of our clash with Bournemouth.

That’s according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth who has mooted the possibility of a late twist in the deal.

The 27-year-old has been an absolute shadow of his former self for the Hammers this season, and he’s fallen well down the pecking order under David Moyes. The Spaniard is now a player totally bereft of confidence, and he desperately needs a move away from West Ham as far as I’m concerned, in order to reivigorate his career.

A January transfer window exit from the London Stadium, on deadline day seemed to be a formality earlier this afternoon, but has there been a big late twist to proceedings?

Sheth took to his official X account this evening to share the news that Pablo is in fact at the London Stadium right now, rather than jetting out to Spain to link up with Betis.

This would be a big turn up for the books wouldn’t it!

Fornals has been really poor for the Hammers this season. In fact, he’s been well off the boil over the last 18 months really.

So I would be really surprised if West Ham decided not to sell Pablo Fornals at the last minute, and he is indeed going to feature against Bournemouth tonight.

The way I look at it is that Fornals has probably completed his medical in London, ahead of his move to Betis, and is just saying his final goodbyes to everyone at the club.
