Ian Wright and Roy Keane predicted the scoreline and the winner as Bournemouth take on West Ham United in the Premier League this weekend.

The Cherries host Nuno Espirito Santo’s side at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday and will be looking to return to the form they showed at the start of the season.

For West Ham United, they need at least a point and results elsewhere to go their way in order to finish the weekend outside the bottom three.

Their recent win over Burnley will give them a momentum boost and it remains to be seen if they can carry that into the other side of the international break.

Roy Keane and Ian Wright back Bournemouth to beat West Ham United

The Cherries have been punching above their weight since Andoni Iraola and despite losing several key players in the summer, have continued to get the results that have kept them in the top half.

They go into the weekend’s game as favourites and both Keane and Wright cannot see anything else apart from a Bournemouth win.

Speaking on Sky Sports’ Stick To Football, Keane said: “Bournemouth will win.”

Wright then predicted a 3-1 win for the Cherries, but got into a discussion with the former Manchester United captain over the scoreline and then agreed on a 2-1.

“We need to be a bit braver,” Keane said before Wright responded: “2-1 to Bournemouth.”

How can Nuno mastermind a victory for West Ham?

Bournemouth like to play with the ball and average over 50 per cent possession in their games this season.

The Hammers, on the other hand, have preferred to let the opposition control proceedings and that hasn’t reaped benefits.

This could be the game where Nuno may look to take the shackles off his players, asking them to press high and put in a physical display.

The Cherries have struggled with aerial duels this season, so Tomas Soucek needs to start for the visitors.

The Czech Republic international is capable of causing havoc from set pieces and exploiting that and pressing the hosts high may just be the right way to go about things for Nuno.
