West Ham United legend Rio Ferdinand spotted current Hammers star Declan Rice at Wembley today and clearly loved it.
Rice has matched the achievements of Rio by leading West Ham into Europe and playing for England.
The midfield ace is one of the first names on West Ham’s teamsheet. And he won’t be far off for Gareth Southgate and England either in that vital holding midfield role.
Hammer Rice key for club and country
West Ham fans are looking forward to seeing Rice in action when England take on Croatia in their opening Euro 2020 game at Wembley today.
Former West Ham star Rio is there as part of the punditry team.
And he got very excited when he spotted Rice on a giant billboard advert outside the iconic ground.
Filming a selfie video outside Wembley, Rio suddenly spots the giant Adidas advert of Rice and turns the camera to zoom in.

Moyes raves about Rice
West Ham boss David Moyes has been raving about Rice in his column with The Times ahead of the Euros.
The Scot says Rice is an elite player and leader and can get even better for West Ham and England.
In fact Rice is so important to West Ham, Moyes says his absence for six games during the run-in cost the club a place in the Champions League as the Hammers agonisingly missed out by just one win.
Moyes has also challenged Rice to add more goals to his game, claiming the midfield enforcer is well capable of hitting double figures.
