The midfield ace is one of the first names on West Ham’s teamsheet. And he won’t be far off for Gareth Southgate and England either in that vital holding midfield role.

Hammer Rice key for club and country

Moyes raves about Rice
West Ham boss David Moyes has been raving about Rice in his column with The Times ahead of the Euros.
The Scot says Rice is an elite player and leader and can get even better for West Ham and England.
In fact Rice is so important to West Ham, Moyes says his absence for six games during the run-in cost the club a place in the Champions League as the Hammers agonisingly missed out by just one win.
Moyes has also challenged Rice to add more goals to his game, claiming the midfield enforcer is well capable of hitting double figures.
