The 28-year-old joined the Hammers in January on loan until the end of the season from Manchester United.
And Lingard has already proven to be an exceptional addition for West Ham.
He has racked up five goals and two assists in just seven games for the Hammers so far.

David Moyes deserves huge credit for having the foresight to bring the England international to the London Stadium.
The West Ham fans are desperate for Jesse to be signed on a permanent deal in the summer.
Rio Ferdinand makes bold Jesse Lingard claim
Let’s just hope that the Hammers owners are prepared to pay what is needed to make that happen.
He would be a truly sensational permanent addition to the West Ham team.
Rio Ferdinand spoke extremely highly of Lingard, when speaking exclusively on the Vibe with Five YouTube channel:

“Jesse Lingard since he’s gone in there, what he’s done has been amazing. That’s no surprise to me. I’ve argued with pundit after pundit, on air, off air, that Lingard could play in any top team because he’s an intelligent footballer, he can play off one touch or two touch. He gets judged on his antics on social media. Some people it rubs them up the wrong way and some people, a lot of the younger generation, love it. But if you’re looking at him as just a cold footballer, anyone who knows football has surely got to see that the kid’s got a talent. Knows how to play, knows how to get into spaces where he can’t be marked, receives the ball on the back foot, can run beyond teams. He’s athletic enough as well and when he gets in, the kid can finish.”
If West Ham are to have any chance of finishing inside the top six this season, they will need Lingard to maintain his fine form between now and May.
And if the Hammers do crack the top six, surely then we will be able to attract the 28-year-old to the London Stadium on a permanent deal.
His recent call-up to the England squad will massively work in our favour. Now we just have to match his ambitions both on the pitch and off it in the transfer market.
