West Ham will battle Aston Villa for the signing of Leeds winger Jack Harrison when the summer transfer window opens.

Leeds ace Jack Harrison is on the radars of both West Ham and Aston Villa, with both clubs keen to prise him away from Elland Road according to talkSPORT.

And Harrison is someone who recently caught the Scot’s eye. In fact, he probably did last season when he scored a hat-trick against us at the London Stadium.

And now it seems as though West Ham are ready to make a concrete move to sign the Whites attacker, although we could face competition for his signature from Aston Villa…

talkSPORT reckon that the Hammers are in for Jack Harrison, and Villa are as well.

Harrison joined Leeds on a permanent £15 million deal from Manchester City in the summer of 2021 (Manchester Evening News), having impressed at Elland Road during three previous loan spells.

The former Manchester City ace has been one of the few bright sparks for Leeds during what has been a terrible campaign for them, with six goals and 10 assists in 40 games to his name (Transfermarkt).

Harrison has skill and trickery in abundance, an impressive turn of pace and a really good cross on him as well. He can play on either wing, and that versatility would definitely appeal to Moyes.

I believe that the former Man City ace would actually be a very good addition for the Hammers. His exceptional delivery would be a major plus for us next season.

If West Ham sign the Leeds inter, I think we’ll be a much stronger attacking unit.

Whether we are able to beat Aston Villa to his services remains to be seen though.
