Jesse Lingard is likely to join West Ham United for around £25 million on wages worth around £100k-a-week according to a report from Eurosport.

The Daily Mail reported yesterday that the Hammers might not be able to sign the 28-year-old permanently from Manchester United this summer due to a lack of finances.
That obviously led to a whole host of West Ham fans worrying that David Moyes may not be able to bring Lingard to the London Stadium permanently in the summer.
It seems as though we may have been worried about nothing, however.

Eurosport claims that Jesse is likely to become the first signing the Hammers make this summer for around £25 million. Her will allegedly earn around £100k-a-week as well.
Lingard has been in sensational form since moving to the London Stadium on loan from Man United in January. With nine goals and three assists to his name in 13 appearances for West Ham so far, he has arguably been the best player in the Premier League over the past three-and-a-half months.
Signing the 28-year-old on a permanent deal this summer should be David Moyes’s priority along with bringing a top class striker to the club.
We have to say though, £25 million seems like an awful lot of money for a player who has just 12 months remaining on his current deal with Man United.
His fine form has obviously led to Manchester United demanding more money. If West Ham hold their nerve, however, we reckon we might be able to sign Lingard for closer to £15-20 million.
Only time will tell whether that turns out to be correct or not. At the end of the day though, this is a deal that we just need to get done, whatever it takes.
