The Hammers played well against the Whites. We were more than deserving of our 2-1 victory.
It would be fair to say that 3-1 or even 4-1 would not have flattered David Moyes’ side.

After going behind early at Elland Road, West Ham were first to every loose ball. We dominated defensively and looked dangerous every single time we entered Leeds’ half.
Marcelo Bielsa was played at his own game by David Moyes and the Argentine was bereft of answers.
Paul Merson spoke on Sky Sports Gillette Soccer Saturday, and made a huge claim about the game between Leeds and West Ham last night:

“I was sitting there watching it and I worry for Leeds. Everybody’s just getting used to playing against Leeds. If Antonio plays yesterday, I think it would have been five or six or seven.”
Paul Merson is well known for exaggerating at times! To say that we could have won by seven goals is quite frankly ridiculous.
Michail Antonio is a tireless worker and makes a real difference for us when he plays.
The 30-year-old is hardly a clinical finisher, however. So to suggest that we would have beaten Leeds so convincingly with Antonio in the side is rather absurd.
Three points is all West Ham wanted wanted anyway, regardless of how we went about it.
Seven goals against Leeds would have been nice, but we are not living in fantasy land.
