Pablo Felipe is starting an individual training regime in a bid to overcome his calf injury at West Ham, says Nuno Espirito Santo.
January signing Pablo has missed West Ham United’s last three games, having picked up a knock following the win over Burnley earlier this month.
That has been a major blow for Nuno, who had built his attacking line around the former Gil Vicente forward and fellow new arrival Taty Castellanos.

Pablo’s injury at West Ham has robbed Nuno of a key player, but it seems the West Ham head coach is hopeful the 22-year-old can return soon.
Asked about Pablo’s fitness during Thursday’s pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s game with Liverpool, Nuno said: “He didn’t join us yet.
“He’s starting his individual programme, improving day by day. Like I said, we keep assessing and see when he can return.”
When asked for an estimated return date, Nuno added: “No, it all depends on him. It depends on how he adapts to the loads again. Hopefully soon, we miss him.”

Nuno is never one to give too much away during his pre-match press conferences.
When asked about any further team news updates ahead of Liverpool vs West Ham on Saturday, a coy looking Nuno provided the most vague update possible.
“You know how it is, always knocks and things to assess,” he added. “A training session tomorrow and then we travel.”

Lukasz Fabianski is the only confirmed player on West Ham’s injury list heading into the game, although that does not mean there aren’t other knocks within the squad.
Konstantinos Mavropanos appeared to suffer a knock against Bournemouth on Saturday but duly recovered to play the whole game.
Jarrod Bowen was pictured in training earlier this week amid suggestions – none of which were confirmed – that he was suffering an injury.
Freddie Potts will miss the game for West Ham. The midfielder was sent off against Burton in the FA Cup earlier this month and missed Saturday’s draw against Bournemouth.
Potts will miss this game, as well as West Ham’s trip to Fulham next week.
It would be a surprise to see Nuno change much in the way of shape, given the success that his team have recently enjoyed.
