Graham Potter may no longer be the West Ham United manager, but the team are still reeling from his tenure, including his decisions to let certain players leave.
The Hammers board sacked Graham Potter at the end of September after a dismal start to the Premier League season.
He left after five losses from six league games, with West Ham’s defeat to Crystal Palace at the London Stadium being his final game in charge.
Nuno Espirito Santo took over the reins, but the Irons remain in the bottom three despite their recent 3-2 win against Burnley in the Premier League.

No West Ham United striker has more goals than Vladimir Coufal in 2025/26
Potter was in charge when Vladimir Coufal was made surplus to requirements at the London Stadium.
His deal at West Ham United ran out in June and he parted ways with the club on a free transfer.
After 180 games for the East London outfit, the 33-year-old left for good, serving them diligently for five full seasons.
Now at Hoffenheim, Coufal has already impressed, finding the back of the net once in the league and providing four assists.
He’s also thriving for the Czech Republic senior side and found the back of the net in their 6-0 mauling of Gibraltar in a World Cup qualifier on Monday night.
Who would you pick to replace Niclas Fullkrug at West Ham?

With that strike, he now has two goals already this season, which is a feat that cannot be bettered by any other West Ham striker.
Callum Wilson, who has found the back of the net twice, is on par with Coufal, but Niclas Fullkrug, Callum Marshall and Luis Guilherme are all yet to score this term.
| Striker | Goals this season |
| Callum Wilson | 2 |
| Niclas Fullkrug | 0 |
| Callum Marshall | 0 |
| Luis Guilherme | 0 |
Nuno must push the board to sign a new striker
It’s evident that the Hammers are lacking quality inside the box, as Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta are still carrying the goal-scoring load.
It’s important that Nuno puts his foot down and demands that the board make a quality signing in the January transfer window.
The Hammers are already in the bottom three and not signing a decent forward could jeopardise their chances of being in the Premier League next season.
