There were plenty of standout moments during West Ham’s brilliant 3-1 win over Sunderland.

Mateus Fernandes’ goal of the month contender, the fact West Ham were 3-0 up at half-time and Granit Xhaka offering out Hammers fans were just a few.

The Wolves fans WARNED us about Max Kilman… 🐺

Who is the worst pound-for-pound signing in West Ham's history? He's surely up there…

Jemez insists Nuno brought him in to tell him his honest opinion.

But he insists there is no bad feeling and the rant was not a scolding of Nuno – as it has been painted out to be.

“I’m used to things being blown out of proportion with me,” Jemez said, as transcribed by Hammers News.

Jemez: ‘He brought me here to give my opinion’

“Like the other guy said, things getting out of hand and everything being magnified.

“It’s a football situation where he tells me to do one thing and I tell him the substitution wasn’t bad, but I’d do it with someone else.

“These are football situations that happen on the pitch, but at no point was I scolding him or anything I understand that he’s the boss there, and he brought me along so I could give my opinion and so that, even if he thinks he might do something else later, if I’m convinced of something, I’ll keep telling him.

“Then, of course, he’s the one who makes the final decision, and I’ll always respect what he says.

“But he brought me to England not to be silent, but to tell him what I think and to help him, above all to help him.”

One thing is clear, Paco Jemez is already on his way to being a real fan favourite at West Ham.
