West Ham United could lose Mohammed Kudus at some point over the next year.

Mohammed Kudus is said to be a transfer target for Arsenal, and clubs in Saudi Arabia are said to be keen as well.

West Ham star Mohammed Kudus has experienced a really eventful 2024/25 season so far.

The 24-year-old is currently in the midst of a five-game ban, and won’t return to action for us until our clash with Leicester City on December 3rd.

The Hammers need him back and firing on all cylinders as soon as possible, if we are to enjoy a successful campaign.

But will he actually be at West Ham this time next year?

His £85 million release clause is set to be activated in the summer, and he will undoubtedly be heavily courted by some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Kudus is under contract at the London Stadium until the summer of 2029 (including a one-year option the Hammers hold).

That’s why West Ham are in such a position of strength, and we could be set for a big windfall.

It really won’t surprise anyone if Kudus leaves in the summer.

West Ham signed the Ghanaian for £38 million from Ajax in the summer of 2023, and we will be able to more than double our money.

Kudus’s future at the London Stadium was a topic of debate on talkSPORT this morning.

Tony Cascarino named Kudus, when asked which players from clubs outside the European places could move for big money this summer.

The pundit told talkSPORT (17 November 17th, 7:11am):

“I’d also add in Kudus at West Ham.

“He’s signed a long contract but there are clubs who’d pay really good money for him.

I think that it is almost certain that Mohammed Kudus will leave West Ham in the summer of 2025.

There will be a club out there that activates his £85 million release clause, and then we will be powerless to prevent him from leaving.

The best we can hope for is that Kudus gives us his very best over the final six months of the season.

If we do get that kind of money for him, reinvesting it properly will be key to our hopes of making some genuine progress over the next few years.
