If West Ham fans think their team were wronged yet again in the 4-3 defeat at Newcastle wait until you watch Match of the Day.
There was a time when Match of the Day was the benchmark for Premier League football analysis and highlights.
But those days are long gone it seems.
There may not be too many West Ham fans rushing to re-watch the excruciating surrender against Newcastle on the BBC show.
Many won’t have a choice, though, unfortunately.
Match of the Day hits new low
MOTD’s analysis of West Ham almost always disappoints. Whether it’s too fleeting, stuck on the end of the show or some pundits showing they simply do not get the club, it rarely delivers.
Newcastle seem to get more air time – especially with Alan Shearer involved.
The legendary Newcastle and Premier League’s leading goalscorer was not on the show. But it still somehow conspired to show ridiculous bias against West Ham for this one in his stead.
It’s nothing short of a Match of the Day farce over the scandalous incidents in West Ham’s defeat at Newcastle.
West Ham have been on the wrong end of some diabolical refereeing and VAR decisions this season.

Scandalous West Ham incidents completely ignored
And there were three more for the list as they surrendered a 3-1 lead to lose 4-3 at Newcastle.
Both penalties were highly contentious and debatable. For the first Anthony Gordon is offside before then interfering with play and winning a soft foul. The ball was played forward by a Newcastle player in the split second before it deflects off a West Ham player.
Dan Burn took Mohammed Kudus out when he was through on goal. He could and should have been sent off, which would surely have helped West Ham seal the game.
And while Kalvin Phillips showed a terrible touch and awareness, the penalty awarded against him as he goes to clear the ball was harsh in the extreme.
Flagship show no longer fit for purpose
But if West Ham fans are hoping to see the incidents analysed and debated then give Match of the Day a miss.
Presented by Alex Scott with Stephen Warnock and that Martin Keown as pundits, none of the incidents were analysed after the game.
Not one. Despite it being the main game neither penalty incident was looked at and neither was the Burn barge on Kudus.
They were not even mentioned let alone analysed.
No wonder Monday Night Football continues to wipe the floor with MOTD with viewing figures and awards.
The BBC’s flagship show is no longer fit for purpose.
