‘Mason is gone’ was Declan Rice’s savage verdict on Chelsea pal Mount after a West Ham reunion with Jarrod Bowen on England duty.
Fans of both West Ham and Chelsea will be well aware of the big friendship between Hammers talisman Rice and Blues star Mount.
The pair have been best friends since they were six years old and playing in Chelsea’s academy.

Rice was released by Chelsea and has gone on to develop into one of the world’s best midfielders with West Ham.
There is no love lost between West Ham and Chelsea.
But the love has been lost between Rice and Mount it seems after the West Ham man ditched his Chelsea mate for new England ace Bowen.
Bowen has been a revelation since signing for West Ham from Hull for a bargain £20 million.

But last season the attacker took his game to new levels, scoring 18 goals and laying on 11 assists for the Hammers.
As a result of his relentlessly brilliant form, Bowen finally got the England call-up he deserves when Gareth Southgate named him in his squad for the upcoming Nations League matches.
Bowen joins West Ham teammate Rice in the squad as well as Chelsea star Mount.

The trio were pictured in England training together this week.
But on his arrival at St George’s Park, Rice delivered a savage verdict on Chelsea pal Mount after his West Ham reunion with Bowen on England duty.
“Yo, you good,” Rice says to the England media team filming his arrival at St George’s Park in a video posted on TikTok.
“(I’ve got my) old West Ham bags (with me).”

The England media team man then says “We’ve seen one of them today” – with reference to the earlier arrival of Rice’s West Ham teammate Bowen.
“Yea, big J Bowen in the building, buzzing!”
Another member of the England staff who greets Rice says ‘You look like you’re in a rush’.
And that’s when Rice delivers his savage verdict on Chelsea pal Mount after his West Ham reunion with Bowen.

“I need to see my boy Jarrod, I need to go and give him a hug,” Rice said.
“Mason is gone now!”
All fun and games of course from the West Ham man about his big Chelsea pal.
But it is great to see more West Ham representation in the England squad.
England just need one more Hammer in the line-up to give themselves a chance of success!
