Mason Greenwood and Bruno Fernandes are among who have reacted to Aaron Wan-Bissaka leaving Manchester United for West Ham.

Mason Greenwood has been keeping a low profile since being shipped out by Manchester United.

The last time Greenwood’s name had any connection with the Hammers was when he childishly trolled Mark Noble after Man United played West Ham.

Greenwood was a teammate of West Ham’s new signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka at Manchester United.

West Ham had tracked Wan-Bissaka for some time and so had new head coach Julen Lopetegui.

The Hammers boss wanted to sign him from Man United when he was managing Wolves.

Now Lopetegui finally has his man after West Ham sealed what’s believed to be a £15m deal with Man United for the 26-year-old.

Wan-Bissaka’s move to the London Stadium has raised eyebrows.

Hammers supporters are seriously excited by the capture of the former Palace right-back.

But many Manchester United fans think the sale of Wan-Bissaka, who follows Greenwood out of Old Trafford for pastures new after his own move to Marseille, could be a big mistake.

Wan-Bissaka aimed a jibe at Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag after signing for the Irons.

Now Greenwood has reacted to Wan-Bissaka’s post about leaving Man United for West Ham.

Taking to Instagram, Wan-Bissaka – nicknamed the spider – says he has found a new home.

“A new home,” Wan-Bissaka said alongside images of him posing in his new West Ham kit.

“Let’s go, Hammers!

“Excited to get going.”

Greenwood and Fernandes react to star leaving for West Ham

Aston Villa new boy and former Hammers target Ian Maatsen congratulated Wan-Bissaka on leaving Man United for West Ham.

YouTuber Flex – a big Man United fan – said: “Big up bro! Let’s go.”

Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes is backing Wan-Bissaka to be a massive hit with the Hammers.

“London ain’t ready for the spider,” Fernandes said alongside a flame emoji.

Another ex Man United teammate of the Hammers new boy, Anthony Elanga, said: “It’s time bro!”

That man Greenwood responded to the move by posting a clapping hands emoji.

Greenwood’s response alone has received 150 replies and counting.

Pundit Clinton Morrison added his well wishes, saying: “Good luck bro.”

Some Man United fans fear sale is a mistake

Many feel selling the defensive specialist will prove to be a big mistake.

Red Devils fans have highlighted how key Wan-Bissaka has been in many of their big games in recent years. Most recently his last competitive performance for Man United – the FA Cup final victory over bitter rivals Manchester City.

Wan-Bissaka was not an Erik ten Hag signing and as he had entered the last year of his deal, the Dutchman was reportedly happy to sell him to West Ham if it meant getting Mazraoui.

Ten Hag reportedly feels Mazraoui is superior to Wan-Bissaka going forward and better suits the style he is trying to implement at Old Trafford.

West Ham, though, are desperate to tighten up defensively. And they should certainly do that now they have Wan-Bissaka in the building as he is one of the best one-on-one defenders around.

Man United have wished Wan-Bissaka well at West Ham in their own statement.

They praised the man nicknamed ‘the spider’ and highlighted his contribution.
