Marseille want to sign £27 million West Ham man in the summer transfer window who’s played 58 games under David Moyes

One West Ham United player is apparently being lined up for a move to Ligue 1 in the summer transfer window.

The summer transfer window will undoubtedly be a busy one for West Ham, with many new signings required.

However, whoever is in charge at the London Stadium in the summer will have to move numerous players out the door as well.

Whether that’s David Moyes or another manager is irrelevant, all that matters is that there are too many substandard players who are stealing a wage at West Ham right now.

In order to comply with new PSR rules, the Hammers will probably have to sell at least one of our big money signings over the past two years.

And there is one obvious candidate as far as I’m concerned…

Marseille want £27m West Ham man in summer transfer window

The Hammers could be about to be presented with a fantastic opportunity to basically write off one of our worst signings in recent history.

Marseille are said to be lining up a summer move for one of our most underperforming players…

Moroccan website Lions De L’Atlas claims that Marseille want to sign Nayef Aguerd from West Ham in the summer.

Aguerd, 28, has made 58 appearances for the Hammers and has scored four goals for us (Transfermarkt).

The Morocco international is apparently up for sale this summer, so Marseille shouldn’t have any trouble at all signing him.

Signed for £27 million just under two years ago (Athletic), Aguerd’s time at the London Stadium seems to be coming to an end. He’s been absolutely terrible for us, let’s be honest here.

He’s quite simply not suited to Premier League football, and gets bullied far too easily on a regular basis.

I’d be more than happy if West Ham sold Aguerd in the summer transfer window.
