Rice is hugely respected both inside and outside of the London Stadium.
Mark Noble shared how pleased he was for the 22-year-old after he scored our final goal of the season against Southampton on Sunday, when speaking to West Ham United’s official website:
“To be honest, as soon as I saw him in the position he was in, with the pace and legs he has got and his finishing in training, I knew he was going to score. I’m absolutely buzzing for him. He deserves it, he’s been fantastic this year and it’ll give him massive confidence going into the Euros.”
We are very lucky to have Declan Rice.
He is a player that will undoubtedly attract plenty of attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs over the next few years.
It will be vital for West Ham to prove to Dec that we can match his ambition this summer.
Mark Noble outlined how good Rice is. We all knew that anyway. Let’s just hope that he stays in East London for the remainder of his career.
