Mark Noble spends a lot of time at West Ham United’s Rush Green training ground.
Noble – the Sporting Director at West Ham – is the go-between for players, the head coach and his staff.
The former Hammers captain bleeds claret and blue, having spent his entire career with the club.
Noble hung up his boots at the London Stadium at the end of the 2021/22 season.
The 37-year-old keeps a close eye on the young players who are currently at the club. Noble recently raved about West Ham’s Freddie Potts, suggesting that he is a truly special young talent.

However, he also acts as somewhat of a liaison officer for the first-team players as well.
Mark Noble was shocked when he saw West Ham ace Michail Antonio
Michail Antonio was involved in a horrific car crash in December of last year.
Doctors who operated on him actually feared Antonio may have sustained a brain injury after the crash.
Fortunately that didn’t turn out to be the case.
And now hopefully the Jamaica international will return to action at some point in the near future.
Noble was asked about how Antonio is currently getting on with his rehabilitation.
And the former Hammers skipper said he has been blown away by how quickly the 35-year-old has seemingly recovered, as quoted by talkSPORT:

“To be honest, if you look at him, he’s a freak of nature. I mean, how he got out of that car in the first place.
“But I saw him yesterday at the training ground and he’s walking about freely, he’s in the gym doing stuff.
“So, I think Antonio’s realised that he’s a very lucky boy to walk away and he accepts that, but it’s just great to see him around, he’s such a good character.”
Will Michail Antonio be given a new contract at West Ham
Nobody knows whether or not Antonio will actually return to action at all just yet.
If he is handed a new deal by the Hammers, one would imagine that he’ll be given a pay as you play contract.
Or at the very least a heavily incentivised deal.
Antonio has been brilliant for West Ham over the last decade, and Noble is clearly very impressed with how he’s looking right now, considering the fact that he was involved in a life-threatening car accident only four months ago.
It would surprise nobody if Antonio played for West Ham again.
