West Ham United look set to sell Lucas Paqueta in the January transfer window.
Lucas Paqueta joined West Ham from Lyon way back in the summer of 2022 but it’s fair to say that he has never really lived up to expectations at the London Stadium.
Every Hammers fan will remember his through-ball to Jarrod Bowen in the Europa Conference League final in 2023.
However, he hasn’t put in enough game-changing performances for the club. As a result, he could be set to leave for pastures new.

West Ham ace Paqueta has been linked with Tottenham this month.
However, his former club – Flamengo – appear to be leading the race to sign him now.
Paqueta has apparently informed Flamengo that he wants to join them in the January transfer window.
Lucas Paqueta twist means he has to leave West Ham urgently
Chelsea are apparently keen to sign Paqueta now as well, after the Brazil international refused to play for the Hammers against QPR on Sunday.
However, it seems like Paqueta is set for a return to Brazil.
Mix Vale claim that Paqueta is pushing to rejoin his former club Flamengo this month.
It is suggested that he is willing to take a pay cut in order to help facilitate the transfer.

Meanwhile, TV Foco claim that Paqueta has a deep love for the Flamengo fans and it is quite clear to see that he wants to return to his homeland.
Flamengo have made a €40 million (£34.6 million) offer for Paqueta and West Ham should not think twice about selling him.
Time for West Ham to sell Paqueta
The 28-year-old hasn’t been anywhere near good enough over the past two years and he clearly doesn’t want to be at the London Stadium anymore.

Selling Paqueta for just under £35 million while getting his £150k-a-week wages off the books would be a huge financial boost for West Ham.
The Hammers are in real trouble right now.
Nuno Espirito Santo does not need players like Lucas Paqueta during a relegation battle.
He should have left the London Stadium in the summer, but now he will surely move on this month.
Paqueta has done some good things for West Ham but he will mostly be remembered as a big letdown at the club, unfortunately.
